Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that stimulates collagen production and improves skin texture. At Grace, we use the SkinPen® Precision system, a microneedling pen that moves rapidly to create micro injuries in the skin. These micro injuries encourage the skin to enter the healing process, boosting growth of new skin cells and new collagen. Microneedling also creates tiny channels in the skin that enhance the absorption of skincare products. Microneedling can reduce fine lines, acne scars, and promote overall skin rejuvenation.
What to Expect: A typical microneedling procedure takes around 45 minutes to complete. Patients can expect to experience one day of redness followed by one day of pinkness, when makeup can be applied. Results can last from three to six months.
